谭秀文

南开大学英语学士、英语语言文学硕士
2009年加入潞河国际教育学园承担英语课程教学工作,获得TESOL, IGCSE英语,AP英语与写作等证书。教授语法词汇,学术阅读,学术写作,英语听说, 小说阅读与SAT/ACT辅导等课程,深受学生喜爱,多次获评优秀教师。
带领英语组教师完成英语课程设计与教材编写,参与全国“十二五”“十三五”教育科研规划课题,研究论文获一等奖。
终身学习者,MOOC迷,乐于尝试新事物,热爱教学和交流,享受与学生共同成长。

尹波

北京外国语大学文学学士。
2003年调入潞河中学任教,多次前往北美、欧洲等地区的国家进行英语培训及交流。2014年加入潞河国际教育学园从事英语教学和班主任工作。秉承一切为了学生的校训,尊重学生,潜心研究学生、促进学生主动发展,收效显著,多次荣获优秀教师和优秀班主任等荣誉称号。
 

岳展翼

英语教师、导师


大连理工大学英语专业学士、外国语言学及应用语言学硕士。
曾于北京科技大学天津学院外语系任教9年;并于2009年6月赴澳大利亚拉筹伯大学参加英语教师高级语言教学法培训项目;在英语阅读、语法、写作等方面具有丰富的教学经验。在潞河国际担任英语教师和学生导师, 并于2017年3月参加英国文化教育协会主办的雅思教师培训,主要教授英语阅读、语法与词汇、IELTS等课程,并教授美国生活英语、英语时事听说两门校本课。2016-2017年度被评为优秀教师。
很享受颇具国际化视野、朝气蓬勃的潞河国际教师团队,非常高兴能够帮助潞河学子发挥潜能以获得最大的成功。
 

张希

英语教师,日语选修课教师

北京外国语大学学士;英国爱丁堡大学硕士。
曾任北京奥运会,广州亚运会英语、日语翻译以及电视转播经理职务。后从事英语翻译工作,为多部纪录片和电视剧本进行笔译,并多次担任会议和讲座的现场翻译。2015年加入潞河国际教育学园后,担任英语教师,教授英语听说,雅思听力及阅读等课程,并担任日语校本课讲师。
热爱电影与阅读,课堂风格生动活泼,与学生互动良好,擅长培养学生的学习兴趣,在学生的学习、个人发展和生活方面给予积极向上的鼓励和引导。
 

赵丽琨

英语教师


北京林业大学外国语及应用语言学专业硕士。
2007年来潞河中学国际部工作, 执教十年, 积累了丰富的教育教学经验。5年的班主任导师和3年的年级组长工作经验造就了学生和家长心目中值得信赖的老师。主创编写了国际教育学园自主语音教材《English Phonetics and Pronunciation》,荣获“潞河中学2010—2011学年度优秀教师”、“2014-2015学年度优秀导师组”等。论文曾获得北京市第四届“智慧教师”教育教学研究成果三等奖及“十三五”教育科研规划课题《教师核心素养与校本培训的》研究成果二等奖。
 

梅英姿

英语教师,班主任


上海理工大学外国语言学及应用语言学硕士。
在英语教学方面有丰富的经验,2015年加入潞河国际教育学园,担任英语教师,教授英语听说、写作、IELTS等课程。她善于发现孩子们的优点,挖掘他们的潜力。愿为学生出国深造,早日成才,贡献自己的洪荒之力。

刘若涵

英语教师


瑞典隆德大学硕士。
2011年2月加入潞河国际教育学园担任英语教师及班主任,期间教授了英语,语音,语法词汇,雅思等课程,指导过电影配音社,并承担了电影配音校本课的教学工作;分别于2012年度和2016年度被评选为“年度优秀教师”;所指导学生也在第十四届中国日报社“21世纪•新东方杯”全国中小学生英语演讲比赛决赛中荣获三等奖。她积极参与学校的各项科研活动,撰写了论文《培养‘尊重’、‘负责’、‘自省’的学生》并刊登在“国际化背景下的中学教育:愿景、使命、行动”2013中学国际教育研讨会论文集中。
除此以外,她还积极参与初中英语课程改革,九年级“百日英语”项目教材编纂,招生面试等工作,带领学生参加游学美国活动等。
对待工作,她踏实肯干,对待学生负责耐心,对教师职业抱有一片赤诚之心。她希望能用爱心去浇灌,用真情去感化,用智慧去启迪,用人格去熏陶,用理想去塑造这一个个充满希望与梦想的生命。
 

刘培树

英语教师,年级主任,高级教师,获剑桥大学国际教师认证


北京师范大学教育学硕士。
2002年加入潞河中学,2008年起在潞河国际教育学园工作至今,其间一直担任英语教师、导师,获得过优秀教师、优秀导师、优秀党员等荣誉称号。曾教授校本课程《西方媒体看中国》。参加过剑桥教师培训并获得资格证书,参加过雅思、托福、AP英语写作等专业课程培训。参加了十三五核心素养课题研究。
他喜爱学校,酷爱学习,热爱学生。
 

何柳

英语教师


北京语言大学英语专业学士,香港中文大学翻译专业硕士,北京航空航天大学MBA。
2010年至今任职于北京潞河国际教育学园,教授英语听说、英语语法、英语读写、托福听说、托福读写、雅思读写等;编撰校本教材:《百日英语读写教材》,辅导学生参加“朗诵比赛”二等奖、“英语歌词大赛”一等奖。
2013年,外派至联合国教科文总部工作;2014年,外派至中国教育部联合国教科文全国委员会工作;多次作为中国青年教师代表或英语翻译参加联合国教科文会议。
每个孩子都是一颗花的种子,只不过每个人的花期不同。有的花,一开始就会很灿烂的绽放,有的花,需要漫长的等待。不要看着别人怒放了,自己的那颗还没动静就着急,相信是花,都有自己的花期。相信孩子,静等花开。也许你的种子永远不会开花,因为他是参天大树!
 

崔月影

英语教师


中国农业大学学士,北京林业大学外国语言学及应用语言学硕士。
一直致力于教育教学工作,曾任职于公立学校,负责教学及班主任工作,并连续几次荣获校级“优秀班主任”荣誉称号。喜欢研究中英翻译,现已完成了三本英文书籍的翻译,译本均已由出版社出版。2017年加入潞河国际教育学园承担英语教学及班主任工作,参加“剑桥IGCSE教师职业发展培训”,拓展了对于国际教育的认识。

Tracey Orr

Teacher of English, Literature and history


Tracey Orr is from Canada. After obtaining her first degree in Social Sciences from the University of Ottawa, majoring in Political Science and Russian Language, she spent several years working as an administrator and translator on international development projects funded by the Canadian Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade. She then returned to university to qualify as a teacher of Social Studies (History) and English, and she began teaching overseas. She has taught in several European and Asian countries, using her History training to teach IB-MYP Social Studies and AP US History, and her English training to teach IGCSE-ESL and other related subjects. This is her fifth year teaching at Beijing Luhe International Academy.
 

Lisa Ward

Teacher of English and music


Lisa Ward has a Master of Music degree from the University of Adelaide where she studied piano and musicology. She taught music in Australian schools for 4 years before going to Japan where she taught English while gaining teacher licenses on the koto (Japanese guzheng) and shakuhachi (bamboo flute). Lisa often visited China on holidays while living in Japan and wished to work there one day. Her wish came true when in 2013 she was offered a job at a university in Hunan, teaching English and piano. She worked there for 4.5 years before joining Luhe in September 2017. In her spare time, she likes to practice the dizi and hulusi.
 

Kim

Teacher of English, Business and Global perspective


Master’s Degree in Secondary Education and Special Education, PHD in Leadership and Curriculum Design and Instruction.
I have been teaching for over 28 years, I'm currently in my 5th year here in Beijing. In China I have taught Business, Psychology, Writing/Grammar, Listening/Speaking, English, Science and Reading. In America I taught Special Education Behavior Disorder students and was on the Administration team. I am an avid reader and I strive to get students to read. I love to travel. I believe that I am also a lifelong learner so that I can stay on the cutting edge of education. I Love what I do and I don't see it as a job.
 

Kelly French

Teacher of English, Literature and history


Bachelor of Arts in English Literature and Master of Arts in Teaching English as a Foreign Language from Kansas State University.
She taught in the English Language Program at Kansas State University and has been teaching English, Drama, and American History at Luhe International Academy for the last five years.
Miss French has completed the IGCSE training for English as Second Language and for Drama.
She developed the Drama class at Luhe, which includes creating the Drama book and lesson plans. The class serves as an interactive way for students to learn English.
Miss French came to Beijing from Highland, Kansas, USA, and has loved exploring Beijing over the last few years. She enjoys baking and reading in her free time.
 

Noelle Thorpe

Teacher of English


Masters in Secondary Education (Grades 6-12), with the specialty in English.
I am from New York, USA. I have taught for two years. I have taught English to students from ages 3 years old to 17 years old. In the US, I have taught students and prepared them for standardized tests such as the NYS English Regents Exam. I enjoy teaching English and have taught English in China for over a year now. I am TEFL certified and have additional certifications in Cambridge's Teaching Knowledge Tests. I believe in continuing my learning so that I can better teach my students.
I am a former Division I Track and Field Athlete. I like to workout, train and be fit. I enjoy reading. Currently, my favorite author is Richard North Patterson. He is an American fiction writer, lawyer and political commentator. His books bring up important topics, while providing its readers with information and perspectives from many sides. I also enjoy going on walks and travelling. I have been travelling since I was a young child. I want to visit as many places as I can.
I am excited to continue my career at Luhe International Academy. The students are enthusiastic about learning and I believe that I will grow here. I am also looking forward to witnessing, and being a part of, both the academic and social growth of my students.
 

Mimoza Elezi

Teacher of English as a Foreign or Second Language and English Literature


BA (English Language and Literature), Senior English Teacher
I am an IGCSE Speaking Examiner accredited by University of Cambridge, and had plenty of IGCSE training from the same university as well. I have been teaching in China for about 24 years, and I have an extensive teaching experience in different levels of education.
At present, I am teaching IGCSE programme and General English Course respectively to Grade 9s and Grade 8.
My hobbies are reading, listening to music, and cooking.
I am proud to say that I have always enjoyed teaching Chinese students as they are really intelligent, hardworking, polite, respectful and curious. Being their teacher means a lot to me as I do not only consider myself as their teacher, but a learner as well. Obviously, I have learned a lot from them about the Chinese history, culture, traditions, language, literature and food. I try my best to keep up a high level of teaching by considering my students to be not only the focus of my teaching but they are the active participants in the learning process. I highly respect them as individuals, and listen carefully to their own ideas and opinions.
It is an honour for me to teach in Beijing Luhe International Academy, after having taught in different foreign and Chinese schools. BLIA is a very prestigious educational institution, having under its belt a 150 year-old history in Chinese education. Its administrative and teaching staff consists of people who are passionately dedicated to organizing and leading, teaching and the well- being of the students. They are extremely industrious, all the time in search of and implementing modern and challenging methods in administration and teaching.
I have a good understanding and co-operation with my colleagues, and there is always a mutual understanding and respect among us all. It literally feels like you are part of a large, beautiful family!
